Bachelor’s degree in petroleum, mechanical or Chemical Engineering from a recognized university.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects.
Extensive experience in multidisciplinary EPIC projects within the Oil & Gas sector (EPIC projects including EPF, CPF and GTP).
5 to 10 years of prior field operation, supply chain management, on-site operations, or related experience.

Coordinate with Al Hasakah oil fields directorate to use their available facilities to improve the practical field activities.
Optimize operation and productivity using best practices to conclude new opportunities.
Connection with contractors: Monitors contractor performance and maintain strong working relationships with contractors to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any issues.
Project Execution: Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of various projects in the Oil & Gas sector, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards with maximum efficiency.
Statutory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, regional, and international laws, regulations, and safety standards.
Department Management: Manage overall operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives, health, safety, and environmental standards, and regulatory requirements.
Personnel Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team across multiple projects, ensuring motivation, optimal performance and professional development.
Continuously check costs and spending to ensure that financial goals are met.
Receive & authorize payments.
Strategical planning and problem solving together with the management.
Review contract documents.
Implement final documentation & Lessons learned.

Extensive experience in project execution within the Oil & Gas sector, with hands-on experience in handling complex, multidisciplinary projects.
Organizational and Leadership skills: strong leadership, management and coordination skills with the ability to oversee large teams and operations, coordinate different stakeholders and foster collaboration between operational teams, suppliers and other departments.
High order of communication skills (both oral & written) & committed team player: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders. Negotiating and influencing attributes.
Demonstrated ability to manage statutory compliance and regulatory requirements across projects.
Natural decision maker & leader: strategic thinking, strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address challenges in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Strong commercial awareness and cost effectiveness.
Good Arabic and English communication skills.
Good report writing skills.

Expertise in the design, engineering, and construction of onshore oil & gas projects, early production facilities, central production facilities and gas processing plants.
Proven ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality outcomes across disciplines.
Resource optimization: Maximize the efficiency of resources across the department with effective control measures and operational oversight.
Demonstrated ability to ensure timely project completion, meeting established targets for cost, quality, and schedule.

Budget Management: Competence in managing budgets allocated to the field base, tracking expenditures, identifying areas for cost optimization and proposing measures to improve financial efficiency.
Logistics Operations Management: Ability to oversee and manage base logistics activities, including management of facilities, equipment, supplies and inventory.
Health, Safety and Environment: Knowledge of current regulations and safety standards in the oil and gas sector, and ability to put safety measures in place and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards. environment.
Experience working in the Middle East, particularly in Syria, is highly preferred.
