Energy Transition in Libya Investment Conference

Gulfsands participated in the Energy Transition in Libya Investment Conference in London last week, hosted by the Renewable Energy Authority of Libya (REALO) and the Libyan British Business Council (LBBC).

Dr. Abdulsalam Al Ensari, Chairman of REALO, and Eng. Asiel Artiema, Head of Investment, delivered an engaging and insightful presentation outlining REALO’s ambitions and its 2023–2035 Strategy. It is encouraging to see such strong commitment to the energy transition in a country where hydrocarbons continue to play a central role in the national economy.

It was also reassuring to see the National Oil Corporation actively involved, and to meet representatives from several of its operating subsidiaries, including Mellitah Gas and Sirte Oil, to discuss how renewable and transition technologies can be integrated into future projects.
