Notice of General Meeting and Posting of Circular

London, 17th December, 2014: Gulfsands Petroleum plc (“Gulfsands”, the “Group” or the “Company” – AIM: GPX), the oil and gas production, exploration and development company with interests in Syria, Morocco, Tunisia and Colombia, has dispatched a Notice of a General Meeting of the Company to be convened for 10.00 a.m. on Tuesday 13th January, 2015 to be held at the offices of Buchanan, 3rd Floor, 107 Cheapside London EC2V 6DN.

Copies of the Notice of Meeting and accompanying Circular and Proxy Form will be available free of charge during normal business hours on weekdays (excluding public holidays) until 13th January, 2015 from the Company’s registered office and from the Company’s website, www.gulfsands.com.
