Gulfsands Petroleum plc (“Gulfsands”, the “Group” or the “Company” – AIM: GPX), the oil and gas company with activities in Syria, Tunisia, Colombia and Morocco, today announces that Alastair Beardsall, Executive Chairman, will be retiring from his executive role and as a Director of the Company with immediate effect.
Executive duties will be assumed by Mr. John Bell, as Managing Director and Mr Andrew Morris, as Finance Director. Mr James Ede-Golightly will assume the role of Non-Executive Chairman.
