Last week it was good to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones, as we were proud to join the ADGM executive team for its ninth anniversary celebration. Gulfsands is thrilled to be part of this international financial centre community that has become a beacon for global business and investment in the heart of Abu Dhabi.
Gulfsands took the decision to relocate our MENA Hub to Abu Dhabi, and specifically ADGM, in 2022, as we sought to increase our presence and profile in the region. We view the ADGM international financial centre as a trusted destination for international businesses, investors, and energy and financial institutions, which offers a stable, transparent and robust regulatory environment as well a sustainable, vibrant and competitive business environment from which to build our business in the MENA region. ADGM has continued to attract key global players and strengthened its role as a bridge for investment between the region and the world.
During our discussions with H.E. Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of ADGM, he reaffirmed his commitment to advancing financial excellence and fostering strategic partnerships that will shape the future landscape of business in the region. This can be seen through the exciting new “Path to Forward” branding that was also launched during the event.
