Sinochem visit Aug 2026

This week, we were delighted to visit China for the Block 26 Operating Committee Meeting with our partner, Sinochem, at its new headquarters in the impressive new smart city of Xiong’an - one of the country’s newest, most innovative and technologically advanced cities.

Our first in-person OCM since we resumed operations in Syria. The meetings provided an important opportunity to align on our joint investment programme, field development plan and priorities for safely and efficiently increasing production.

The meetings reaffirmed the strength of our longstanding partnership and our shared commitment to advancing Block 26.
